Supporting our Community
Rochdale Accounting & Financial services is committed to being actively engaged with our community through both participation and support.
Our team members are regularly involved in fundraising events such as the annual Daryl Chapman Fun Run, Jeans for Genes Day and the annual Pink morning tea we hold in the office to raise funds for the Cancer Council of NSW. In October 2011, staff raised an impressive $812 at this morning tea with the Partners matching that amount and doubling it, bringing funds raised to a total of $2436.
We also support other organisations within our community through sponsorships and provision of pro bono accounting and financial support.
Byron Bay Writers’ Festival: now one of the biggest literary events in Australia, Rochdale has been a major sponsor for the past seven years. We also support the Northern Rivers Writers’ Centre that runs the Byron Bay Writers’ Festival.
Northern Rivers Community Foundation: we provide audit support and investment advice for NRCF, an independent philanthropic organisation that raises funds from within the community and invests them in perpetuity with the proceeds going back to the community in the form of annual grants.
